Seventh and Eighth Grades
The junior high students have lots of great activities to look forward to. The students in these grades are chapel family leaders where they sit and guide younger students during chapel time. They also are role models on campus for all the younger children.
Seventh and Eighth grade students have religion, mathematics, and language arts daily. They read many great novels as a whole class and have quarterly book reports based on their independent reading. They learn writing skills that prepare them for success in high school.
Mathematics instruction occurs daily and is offered at the child’s level. They learn geometry, pre-algebra, and algebra skills necessary for high school. Seventh and Eight grade students use the world around them to explore mathematical concepts such as finding the volume of the classroom.
Technology is embraced in the classroom. A classroom iPad is used daily.
The Seventh and Eighth grade students look forward to their trip to Washington DC!
